The much-rumored Helldivers 2 x Fortnite crossover won’t be happening anytime soon. Shams Jorjani, CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, has confirmed that while Fortnite remains a big and appealing game, this collaboration is not currently on their priority list.

Fortnite’s latest season has introduced a military faction battling giant insects — an atmosphere that feels straight out of Helldivers. It’s no wonder that this thematic similarity fueled rumors of a Helldivers 2 x Fortnite crossover in the works.
However, responding to a fan’s question on Discord, Jorjani stated clearly:
“This is not a priority for us right now. But who knows? Maybe it will happen one day.”
Past Collaborations and Crossover Potential
So far, Helldivers 2 has only done collaborations with the beloved Killzone and Halo franchises. In the gaming world, if you’re a major entertainment IP, the odds are high that Epic Games either has already approached you for Fortnite collaboration or will in the near future.
