Players who have preordered any edition of Diablo 4 can now download the game’s beta version ahead of its release on Friday. To download the game, players need to change their game version to “Diablo IV – beta” on their Battlenet app. The game’s installation file is about 80GB, but it can be reduced to 40GB if players opt not to install the high resolution texture pack. The beta version allows players to explore the Fractured Peaks and fight Ashava, the first world boss, as one of three characters: Barbarian, Rogue, or Sorcerer. If players haven’t preordered, they can still participate in the beta weekend that will be open to everyone next week, and all five Diablo 4 classes will be available to play.
