Main Anniversary Rewards: Free Urban & Kilo Skin
The anniversary season kicks off on November 11th, bringing a heavy lineup of free rewards:
- Free Urban Tracker Character: A brand-new variant of the iconic Urban character is dropping completely free for all active players.
- How to Claim: Simply log into the game daily—just like previous anniversaries—to unlock this character and companion items.
- Side Anniversary Loot: Alongside the character, players will receive an epic Kilo skin, a themed profile frame, and an exclusive calling card.
- AS VAL Status: Leaked images showed an epic AS VAL skin as well. However, its arrival in the global version is unconfirmed and might be restricted to other regions.
Verdansk Event: How to Get Ghost & DLQ33
The next massive surprise is the ultra-popular and badass Desert Ghost skin. Many players thought this skin would be locked behind a paid draw or crate, but Activision made it an exclusive reward for the new Verdansk map event:
- Connection to Access to the Signal Event: The current signal mini-game directly sets the stage for Season 10 and the Verdansk map.
- Two-Chapter Event Structure: The new seasonal event is split into two main chapters.
- Chapter One: Completing the tasks in chapter one unlocks the epic DLQ33 sniper skin.
- Chapter Two: Finishing chapter two guarantees you the legendary Desert Ghost character permanently.
- Verdansk Missions: While it is not fully confirmed if every single task forces you into Verdansk, a massive chunk of the action will definitely take place across this giant map.
Free Legendary AK-47: Pharaoh’s Decree Rises!
The crown jewel of these events is a completely free legendary weapon:
- Legendary Skin Name: Designed for the AK-47, this skin is officially named Pharaoh’s Decree.
- Theme & Design: Heavily inspired by ancient Egyptian pharaohs and culture, featuring jaw-dropping visual details.
- Crate-Independent: This weapon is entirely event-based and has zero ties to paid crates or lucky draws.
- Unlock Requirement: You must complete both chapters of the Verdansk story event to claim this AK-47.
- Performance Tip for Low-End Devices: Because the Verdansk map is massive and resource-heavy, players on lower-end phones might experience lag or frame drops. Clear your storage and optimize your game files early!
What is the Future of the Tundra Crate?
Renowned leaker Luxino recently claimed that the next legendary crate weapon would be a skin for the LW3-Tundra named Mothership (borrowed from other Call of Duty titles):
- Official Developer Response: The CoD Mobile team stated they have no info on a legendary Tundra, shifting the spotlight directly to the event-based AK-47 instead.
- Are Crates Dead? Activision has not canceled crate updates. The current legendary MG42 will eventually be replaced, though whether it happens in Season 10 or 11 remains unconfirmed.
Clarification on Shan Xiao and Original Urban Tracker
- Shan Xiao Character & QXR: Leaked lobbies featured this character and an awesome QXR skin, but the devs confirmed these rewards are strictly exclusive to the Chinese version and will never hit global.
- Original 2019 Urban Tracker Return: Developers confirmed Urban Tracker is coming back in “multiple forms,” but explicitly clarified that the original 2019 version will NOT return. “Other forms” refers to variants like the anniversary edition, keeping the original’s exclusivity completely safe.
