Why Are Fortnite Players Getting Refunds?

Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, has agreed to a historic $245 million settlement known as the Fortnite FTC refund. This refund comes after the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) alleged that Epic tricked players—especially children—into making unwanted in-game purchases through deceptive billing practices. The Fortnite FTC refund aims to compensate players who were unfairly charged, giving thousands of gamers and their families a chance to reclaim their lost money.
